Join Daybreak Rotary for our next Social.  We will be meeting from 4pm to 6pm at The Blind Pig at 3325 Center Point Rd NE. 

Come join Daybreak Rotarians and their families at our next Social to burn off some end of the school year energy at AirFX in HIawatha on Tuesday May 14th from 6pm to 8pm.  They have a special of $10 for a 120 minute General Admission pass on Tuesday nights.

How fun to have Megan Lenss, a CR Rotary Out-bound student and Fulbright scholar (and daughter of Shona Lenss) join us! Megan and her friend, Sigurd, will provide a glimpse into their sustainable living lifestyle and Sigurd's commercial fishing business. 

Dr. David Dickens is a pediatric oncologist and the Director of Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital

Join Daybreak Rotarians and kids from Four Oaks and enjoy a game of Kickball on Saturday Septebmer 28th!

We will start the morning at 10 am with some field clean up first.  Four Oaks will provide tools to help with the field work (picking weeds), Bring a pair of gardening gloves if you prefer.

The kids will join us at 11 am to start our Kickball game(s).  We will play until around noon.  After the game, stick around and enjoy some popsicles and have a chance to talk to the kids for a short while.  Four Oaks will provide a large water jug full of water but you will need to provide your own water bottle.

Each participant/attendee of the game will need to complete the background/disclosure form for volunteers and return it to Shelby Kobliska (SKobliska@fouroaks.org) at Four Oaks by September 25th.  Please make sure to also add your email address to the Four Oaks form.

Four Oaks requests that you do not bring any children under the age of 18.

The GCRCF is celebrating 75 years of impacting lives in the greater community. 

Clay is a 5th generation farmer from Tama County. After graduating from Harvard with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clay became a leader in farm automation and soil conservation. For the rest of his interesting story, you will need to be at Rotary on Friday!
